Office Treat
Book 1
What’s worse than thinking you’re up for the promotion of a lifetime only to find out you’re being banished overseas to The Hague?
Discovering the guy you’re falling for is your subordinate.
I do not mix business and pleasure. It’s a guaranteed one-way trip to the human resources office, and my career’s already off-track enough as it is. I do not need any more distractions.
Niels, the blond-haired, blue-eyed, Norse-god lookalike, is out to prove me wrong. He claims I can be the boss and still have a little fun. I don’t think he understands the definition of the word ‘boss’.
But, bit by bit, Niels tears holes in my defenses with his jokes, his playfulness, and those heated stares that make my fingers itch to strip him bare and lick him from head to toe until I can’t help but think …
How much harm can one kiss do?
This office romantic comedy features a workaholic determined to stay as far away from love and squishy feelings as possible, a fun-loving Dutchman who’s just as determined to convince the workaholic to let her hair down, and two friends who have decided to try their hands at playing matchmaker.

“Niels,” I start.
He winks. “Yes?”
I shake my head. “No. No winking. No heated stares. No. I’m your boss.”
He takes a step closer, and I retreat right into the refrigerator. Damn it. He has me cornered in a room without a door. “Back up.”
When he doesn’t move, I raise my hand and place it on his chest to push him away. Mistake. Big mistake. His muscles bunch underneath my fingers and the temptation to explore is overwhelming. But I am not a slave to my needs. I am the boss here, damnit.
“I’m serious, Mr. De Groot. Back up now.”
“Pulling out the last names. I guess I better move.” He leans closer to whisper, “Although I would love to see how you’d punish me.”
My mouth drops open, and I forget how to breathe. What? He wants me to punish him? Is he serious?
He saunters off, whistling as he walks away. I can’t help myself from watching his fine ass move in his suit pants as he leaves. If I can’t have the man, I can at least look, right?
