Not A Bragg

I walked away from the love of my life because I couldn’t give her what she wants most in life. But it was a mistake. She thinks we’re done. She’s wrong. Because I’m getting her back.

The time has arrived. Eagle is going to propose. I just know it.

Turns out, I couldn’t be more wrong. Instead of proposing, I come home to find he’s packed up and moving out of our apartment on the eve of our first vacation.

Unwilling to face the nosy people in our small town of Winter Falls, I go on ‘our’ vacation by myself. No one’s more surprised than me when, upon my return, Eagle’s declares his intention to win me back.

No way. I’m not a complete idiot. But when Eagle finally confesses the reason why he walked away from me, I’m tempted to forgive him.

Welcome to Winter Falls, where neighbors are nosy, quirky is routine, matchmaking is the town hobby, and love is worth fighting for.

Not A Bragg is the standalone prequel to the Bragg Brothers series.

I can’t do it. I can’t give Clementine up. I don’t care how it’s better for her. How she deserves more. I’m not giving her up.

I step toward her and she gasps before whirling around and running out of the diner. I start to chase after her but Daniel steps in front of me to stop me.

“What are you doing?” I snap at him. “She’s getting away.”

“You can’t run after her if you don’t plan to keep her.”

“Of course I’m going to keep her. She’s my Clementine.”

He smiles and rubs his hands together. “Excellent. Let’s make a plan.”

“A plan? I don’t need a plan.”

He claps me on the back. “Yeah, you do.”

“She loves me,” I claim.

He cocks an eyebrow. “And you didn’t destroy her by leaving her?”
