Will a case of mistaken identity cause Sofia to lose the love of her life?
I’m about done with dating. As a fashion photographer with a world-famous model for a mother, every man I meet either gives me his head shots or asks to meet my mother. Ew.
But then, unbeknownst to me, my friend signs me up for internet dating. After a few disastrous dates – Mr. Married Farter and Mr. Flat Earther are not exactly ideal dates – I’m ready to give up.
Then, I meet Rafael. Even though he doesn’t have much time for romance since he’s caring for his sick sister, we develop a close friendship. A friendship I hope can become something more.
But when I arrive in Amsterdam to meet my internet crush, Rafael is nowhere to be found. Instead, I meet Ravi. A model who embodies everything I hate about the fashion business – stuck-up, attention seeker, and immature.
Will the real Rafael please stand up? Is he Mr. Dependable or Mr. Immature Prankster?
This is what I get for trying online dating.
This romantic comedy features a woman who protects her heart with a heavy dose of cynicism, a man doing his damndest to save his sister, and a whole passel of friends determined to push the two of them together no matter the subterfuge necessary.
Each book in the Love in the Lowlands romantic comedy series can be read as a standalone.

“I love your friends, but I need some time with you alone after you said you’re mine.”
“And what did you have in mind for this alone time,” I ask and lick my lips.
He groans and his head descends until his lips meet mine. He teases me with barely there kisses on the corners of my mouth before his tongue peeks out and he licks my bottom lip.
“I love your lips. I can’t look at them without wanting to kiss you,” he whispers against my mouth.
“You can kiss me now,” I breathe out.
He molds his lips to mine in response. I gasp and his tongue demands entry. I open up and his tongue rushes in. I clutch the front of his shirt and hold on as our tongues clash. His hands thread through my hair and he tilts my head to the side to gain better access. Yes.
He presses closer to me until I can feel how hard he is against my belly. I’m hitching my leg over his hip to rub myself against his hard length when a little voice interrupts me.
I wrench my lips away from Rafael’s to discover a small boy staring up at us. An identical boy joins him.
Rafael groans. “Cockblocked by a set of twins.”
“At least they’re dressed now,” I point out.
“I need to take you out on a real date. A romantic date with no friends or family around.”
He winks. “I promise.”
“I’m counting on it.”
